All so very nicely planned there for sure our Rich, as you say too with all the so special flags.
Sure everyone who came along to pay their respects so appreciated all that was set there in Remembrance.

Yes our sweet Tan, it was a very well planned ceremony as it is every year. I was very surprised to see how many kids and young people turned out. Too bad the weather was awful, but, it went off without a hitch. There were several bands playing lots of music, including pipes and drums. God save the Queen was played as well as Oh Canada. Lots of speeches as well. I belong to the Royal Canadian Legion, as a veteran and I was invited to join the colour party. chuckles

The photos are 'perfect', Rich ... and I mean that from my heart as the death and maiming of so so many surely suits a wet, gray and dismal day somehow.

War, in all it's forms and with all the different names throughout the centuries ... surely 'mankind' is a misnomer - gentle sigh.
