Thank you for adding this link to this website our Rich. Amazing what I have looked at up to now. All the close-ups there, so much detail being seen in the photo's.
I will be looking through more as often as can be.

I am glad you enjoyed it our sweet Tan and I am sure our other members will as well and I hope Maisie sees this. Avro Aircraft set up Avro Canada before world war 2 and during the war lots of aircraft were built here. Especially the Lancaster Bomber and the Mosquito Bomber which were built just outside Toronto Ontario. Canada was given the honour, by our allies, to train pilots and aircrew in the province of Manitoba. British, Polish, American and Australian and other allied countries sent their airforce personnel to train here.  chuckles

I have seen this site before Rich, the first lot of light fighter/bombers are in fact Hornets a later version of the Mosquitos. One of my flight Sgts had a large photo of one on his office wall and a sign stating that fact, for on his first posting that was the planes he had painted.

That's a fascinating site to see some many good photos - including the planes of WW1 and WW2, Rich - thank you!
