Too cute and held together with a piece of duct tape!  What a portable flower garden this bike is - how could anyone not smile when seeing it!

Thanks for posting it so we could see it as well, Nordog!

According to Paul the owner of the bike & cycle shop not much of an advert to his shop but a lot of people has taken photos of it Joelle.

Been down the yard this morning to clean my old Dawes now it drying and hope to sort out a few nagging problems of gear changing with out buying all new drive system that would be more than the bike is worth.

It will have cheered lots of people up though Nordog and nice of the shop owner to take the trouble.

Two interesting bikes there Nordog.

That Dawes is brill. (Slack gear cables is first thing to check... Very Happy  )

The yellow bike here is similar to the Dawes - Custom crankset... binoculars

Cables are in pretty good nick considering, the problem is more of the wear in the chain & cassette plus the rear mesh needs a good sock in petrol then some oil.

Put new chain and rear five (standard Shimano) it should be okay then. The front, if it's Custom, is stainless and pretty hard stuff.
Did this on mine about a month or so ago. Smooth as silk now and bike is 1980's/90's perhaps.

Then I would have to lock it up Condor, as it is no would thief would get very far with my Dawes, I rider that I know had the opposite steering on an old bike parked out side a  pub in Bath, the block who tried nicking it got five mtrs and fell off.
