A beautiful tribute to honour all those who made such a sacrifice, Maisie.

And all those blood red poppies - they are incredible, Tan, and remind me of flowing blood as surely so much of it flowed from those injured and maimed.

Rest in Peace to all those who sacrificed.

So right our Mara. To see all those poppies really sinks in just how many died.
I am sure it got many people thinking when they saw how the poppies have been set up there, flowing in that way.

We observed the candlelight vigil and listened on the radio.   It was very good and the music was wonderful. We will never forget.

I placed, as our main banner, the 'lights out' picture you added our Maisie, from 10pm until 11pm. God Bless them all.

It is just so sad that when you think about those men and women who lost their lives in WWI  but the world hasn't learnt how futile war is. Although relatively speaking not that many have died in Afghanistan it is still a waste of life with nothing gained.

Thanks for getting back to me folks.
Sorry I have not been in before but been feeling shattered and I have spent as much time as I could with my legs up inthe recliner. Been trying to get rid of an ear, nose and throat infection but the pencillin tablets have not done much good.
Never mind I am still here to moan about it.  chuckles

Hello our Maisie, take it easy best you can, and carry on with your legs on the recliner.
Shame those penicillin haven't worked, will you be able to make an appointment soon, then doctor knows?. Please don't suffer unduly.
Awww, you are not moaning.  hug
