Voices of Heroes Empty Voices of Heroes

Post by Maywalk on Sat Jun 30, 2012 12:20 pm

Just had a phone call from the chappie who prints any books that I have done to say that this one is now available if anyone is interested in WW2 history. The foreword on the cover of the book will explain why I have done this.

http://www.reprintuk.com/books/voices_of_heroes

All proceeds after printing costs are taken out will be sent to the Royal British Legion.

It is in a fairly large print mainly for any elderly who would like to read the tales that I had sent me to put on my website.
Wonderful tales that I would like others to read because there are still many who cannot use computers but can still read a book.

It's so lovely what you have done our Maisie, and sure those that contributed about their memories will be honoured that their stories have been added there too, in memory of their times, all what they went through, and never to be forgotten.

How truly wonderful of you to do this, our Maisie!!

And yes, even in this 'computer age' many still prefer books that one can touch and curl up in bed with - gentle smile.

Many thanks Mara.
I just hope that it will help make a bit of money to go in the R.B.L. funds.

I hope you enjoy it Tan.
It would make a nice present for anyone elderly who is interested in the WW2 era because the print is nice and big.
NO I am NOT trying to flog it honestly because it seems to be doing OK as it is. Laughing
I am just stating a fact because SO many books have VERY small print.

The print like you say our Maisie, is nice and big, easy on the eye. Very Happy
There is an elderly couple on the lane further down from me, they are away at the moment, but when they get back I will ask them if they would like to read the books I have from you, sure those will bring many memories back for them..

I have read your 'Deliverance Day' poem, that is lovely, as are the others submitted there by other authors.
